What is new in my life….
Im 20! Im 20! Im 20!!!!! No longer a teenager! 
)) Yay yay yay Im officially an adult. It is officially the first birthday I have ever spent away from my parents. So sad 
wahhh…. Also, my dentist at Northlake Dentistry sent me a happy birthday text. So cute, right? 
Love it there! Looking for a dentist? I would check with Dr. Stacy at Northlake Dentistry because she is super close to Dr. Coopers office and they are so friendly in that office. Hopefully I do not overdose on cupcakes today and have to go in for a filling… I will just have to brush super good today and floss like a maniac. Maybe I will sing that 80′s song while I floss tonight…”Im a maniac, mannnniaaaaacccc” Y’all know the song right? Summer school isnt too terrible…Im ready for it to be over but I can deal. I had to start wearing my glasses everyday since my vision is getting worse. Im still getting used to it. Im not a huge fan of having to keep up with glasses. Also, I got season passes to Carowinds! Wooohooo! I know what I will be doing on Saturday! Speaking of, that day (this saturday) you can get in for $20 if you go with someone who has a season pass! It is bring a friend day. Other deals?…hmmm I know Aerie has some awesome sales this weekend like 7 for 26 undies and so many discounts on sale items. I think Victorias secret also has the panty raid for the same price. College kids looking for apartments, do it now! Prices go up in the summer!!! Be smart, look up different places, ask for all inclusive deals, and make sure everything will work out with a parent or with your paychecks before wasting money to apply. Well…I have to eat lunch before I go to class… so byeee!

Summer school….
Oh joy it is time for summer school… Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday I have class allllll day. I actually have to wake up at 8 something to be in class at 945. Early morning for us college kids. But on the plus side…I will be graduating in one year! By this time next year I will be a college graduate and moving on to grad school. Speaking of, I need to get on that and take my GRE. Great starts with gre but I have a feeling it is not going to feel great having to take it. Its like the SAT but harder. more like the GRO as in gross. So other than being sucked into my summer classes and homework, I will be working part time and touring. If anyone is interested in attending UNC Charlotte let me know and I can tour the day you want to visit. Anyway enough of work. I have also been laying out by my apartment pool all summer (the week of summer I have had anyway) and getting tan. Hope y’all can find time to lay out and relax too.

ps did I mention I am recently addicted to gossip girl? Already on season two and I have been out of school for a week. watch the show if you are interested on netflix. SOOOO GOOD!

Just a tip…when you trip over your roommate’s laptop charger and face plant because you are wrapped up in a blanket, turn your face to the side so your braces don’t smack the floor. Your cheeks will break the fall…#classicmove hope this brightens y’all’s day because me and my roommates got a kick out of it.
Things are moving along smoothly
Literally! My teeth are moving along smoothly. They are moving. They are smooth to run my tongue over since they are straightening. I love checking the mirror to see if they have moved. So far just one tooth hasnt shown too much movement but everything else is practically straight! The last appointment went by sooo fast! The one before that took forever so that was a nice surprise! I has Melissa work on my banding which didnt seem like a long time but when I checked my phone for the time I was shocked at how long it did take. Melissa had to try on different bands to make sure that it wasnt too tight or too loose to allow food to get stuck in between and create cavities. It was very mama bear papa bear baby bear…I was goldilocks. Which is convenient because I recently went blonde. Well as blonde as a dark brunnette like myself can go…Anywho… that appointment took forever and I only got about half of my teeth with rubber bands. Weird? I thought so. It worked though because my teeth that didn’t have rubber bands have showed a lot of progress. The last appointment with Arlette was quick! I was in and out of that seat. She just tightened my front wires and changed the rubber bands on the side teeth and I was finished. Have a great summer to all of those out of school! As for me…summer school…oh joy….paid for it this morning actually…oh joy….started reading for the class next week….oh joy. Can you tell Im excited?!…sarcasm. Enjoy your summer though unless you unfortunately have to be in the same boat as me and when I say boat I dont mean fancy yacht with channing tatum, chase crawford, and zac efron…although…you never know.

Ok so look back at the picture with me and Dr. Cooper….now look at the new picture of me that I posted last night (one of the many…I got webcam happy hahaha) notice my front teeth are straight!!!!!!???!!! Whattttt!!!??? That is crazy talk right? It has only been about two months since I got braces and already I can see the difference. Fun tips: DO NOT overly chomp on your food. If you are like me and get really excited by food do not eat fast and chomp…I know you are excited…been there done that. I chomped and somehow my tooth hit my bracket, can you say owwwww! I panicked but it was fine nothing was broken or damaged but now I know to be extra careful! Also, chocolate may be a problem for you. I eat it a lot! Om nom nommmy! I somehow manage to get it all over my face especially when around my roommate. She was dieing yesterday when I had chocolate all over my face…how? I have no idea. I think it is because I cant eat with my front teeth so I adjust and miss my mouth somehow…anyone else have this problem? Or is it just me? Vaseline is amazinggg when you bite your lip or it just gets dry from the braces. I put it on every night before bed and bam nice and smooth (: Have a great weekend everyone!

Braces arent even that noticeable for those who are worried about being called “brace face” “metal mouth” or other names….it really isnt that noticeable and when you get them off you can be all like “Bamm Ive got straight teeth and clear grillz, get on my level”
